The river she is growing is rolling and flowing, rushing down to the sea...
Oh mother carry me, the child that I will come out to be, oh mother carry me down to the sea...

New Year's Eve...
Well, it looks like our little Max is going to wait for the new year before coming out to play with us. Cristiana is feeling good this morning, but still no contractions or other signs that labor is starting. She'll get another acupuncture treatment this afternoon, which always gets Max immediately moving. And maybe we'll go for a walk on the beach, before, or after.
Here's a nice picture of Cris at 3rd ave back on Dec 23rd.

Wed Morning...

Uh, i feel like crap today...I sure hope it is a good sign! We did have some bloody show last night, which is a sign that labor is imminent, but what imminent exactly means I am not sure. In the meanwhile got a few things i could be getting ready for baby still, some as fun as figuring out the diaper pail, haha.
Anyways, we decided to give Max Sylvester as a middle name if he comes tomorrow...go cat/stallion baby!!

Tuesday night, back home at the station...

It's been a long day for both of us- I went to Santa Cruz and back, twice!, today, and Cris once. I had a good visit to the chiro then came home, Cris and I then went down to Sutter for the weekly pre-natal check. Cris' cervix is 70% effaced, which is a good sign, but no dilation yet... unfortunately being past due now, the subject of induction has crept into the conversation. We then had a nice dinner with friends back at the house. After dinner Jodi gave Cristiana a great back massage. Oh yeah, also found time to get some more baby clothes before the midwife visit! Well, here's a couple of pics, and we're off to bed!

Tuesday Morning, all's well on the Railroad
Cris is still sleeping this morning and I am on my way to a chiropractic appointment. Little Max had a busy night kicking, punching, and churning around inside mama's womb. So far no imminent signs that he will be coming out soon. The little guy appears to be quite happy to just float around in there. Reminds me of the Phish song "Free"
