6 weeks already! my how time flies!

Well our little dude turned 6 weeks old this week, and we're overdue to update the blog... quite a bit has happened in the last couple of weeks... most significant for me is that I returned to work again after 7 weeks off! That wasn't too bad though, things are more or less the same back at the office, I didn't miss much. I do miss the little guy during the day though, so hope to work some "work from home" days into the schedule when I can. But what's happening with Max? Well, around the time of our last post, he started losing some of his hair... over the next 10 days or so, he lost a little more, bit by bit... there's still a little left on the top, and around the back of his head, but most of what he was born with, in front and on the sides, has fallen out. This is normal so it's not a big deal, but we did like his thick newborn hair! But where he's lost it, it's already growing back. It's light brownish still, and even looks golden when he's in the sunlight. I also discovered recently that he really likes "flying!" That is, I hold him securely around the torso, and then "fly" him around the room! He seems to really like that! He's also smiling more and more, and has even laughed a couple of times! Each day seems to bring something new. Lastly, just yesterday he rolled over by himself for the first time! This was from tummy to back, and seems to be a bit earlier than most babies... back to tummy rolling however will take a bit longer to do- I think usually around 6 months or so.
